Custom Fabricating Specialists was founded in 2008 by Dan Ruys and Keith Debruin following the closure of the Kimberly Mill, where both had spent their careers — Dan as a welder and Keith as a pipe fitter. Rather than stepping away from the trade they knew so well, they turned a challenging moment into an opportunity, building a fabrication shop grounded in hard work, craftsmanship, and honest service. From the start, their focus was simple: deliver quality metal fabrication and welding solutions customers could depend on. Over the years, CFS built a strong reputation throughout the Fox Valley Wisconsin area by consistently providing reliable work in steel, stainless steel, and aluminum fabrication.
